Hi and welcome to a joyful servant. My name is Amber and I’m excited to welcome you to my page.

I’m 25, a newlywed, and happily married to my best friend, Jonathan.

I’m a homemaker and I love it!

My husband seems to enjoy my work as well.

We are a family of four! We have two fur-babies that bring so much joy to our lives.  Starting with our perfect angel puppy, Sweetpea:(Update as of 10/22/12: Sweetpea has passed away.  I can’t bring myself to remove her from this page as she will always be a member of our family even though she is no longer with us.)

Followed by our loveable, lazy, fat cat, Pebbles:

We also have three babies that we lost to miscarriage. Abiygale, Matthew, and Hope are living in paradise with Jesus and we can’t wait to meet them someday.

But most importantly, I am a child of God and my heart is filled with joy because Jesus died on the cross for me.

In February of 2005, Jesus saved my life and I knew without a doubt in my mind that He was my Savior and that I could put all of my trust and faith in Him. Once I surrendered my heart to Christ, my life changed forever. (Read my testimony here.)

I previously had two other blogs; a blog sharing my faith and a frugal living blog. I felt the itch to start a miscarriage support blog to help other women, but then I realized that every part of my life, every ministry that I use to help others, is all tied together through Christ.

You see, the bible says that in everything we do, we should do it as if we are serving the Lord. And I believe that every part of our lives, the big decisions and the small choices we make, can be used to serve God and bring glory to His name.

This is my life song. Sometimes the song is sad during a season of grief, loneliness, and depression. Other times the song is upbeat and happy during a season of happiness, love and laughter.

But every song I sing, I can praise the Lord with joy. Every part of your life, every season you face, can be a song of worship to God.  My joy does not come from circumstances but from a loving relationship with God. My joy is in the hope that my Savior died so that I can be forgiven. My joy is in the hope that Jesus is coming again and I look forward to the day when He will say, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”

My mission in this blog ministry is to share my heart for God with others, and to encourage you to have faith in Jesus as your Savior.

If you would like a personal relationship with God, all you have to do is pray and ask Jesus to come into your life.  Ask God for forgiveness for your sins and believe that Jesus paid the price on the cross so that you can have an eternal life with God. And then confess to the world that you believe in Jesus – you can start by sending me an email if you would like – I would be delighted to share in the joy of your testimony! And then find a good, loving church, where you can enjoy fellowship with other believers, and learn to be a servant for the Lord.

If anyone has any questions or would like to get in contact with me, you can email me at thefrugalwed@yahoo.com

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16 (The first bible verse that I read)
